I'm not sure about anything as much as I am that the whole world is tired of Covid! We lost loved ones and friends way too soon, our kids lost critical socialization, the news and confusion of proper information drove us nuts, some of us drank way too much alcohol, yikes...... I am thrilled we are on the far side.
Now barriers that held us back are gone. During the downtime I learned how to meditate, read more books and spent vast amounts of time in introspection. Those of us who were forced to hit the pause button are on track to make up for lost time. I've booked three trips this year and one of them is out of the country.
Here are the, very appropriate, lyrics to the first verse of Cole Porter's famous song......
"Oh, give me land, lots of land under starry skies above,
Don't fence me in.
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love,
Don't fence me in."
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze,
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees,
Send me off forever but I ask you please,
Don't fence me in.
I hope you are having a wonderful, fresh, blossoming, spring!!!
